Hi people!
Its really great to know that there are so many fans of PS on the net. I have just finished the novel and rank it among one of the best I've read. At first konjam ezhuthukootti than padikka vendiyirunthathu....but I could not keepit down after that. My favourite characters are VT and nandini. Really, I feel without Nandini the entir novel would have not been there. Nandini is 'aadiyum-andhamum' of PS. Plz share ur veiws on this subject

I'm from Malaysia. P.S. was one of the most interesting novels tha i've ever read. I was unable to keep the book away till I was done with the 4th part. Now I'm looking forward to know the rest of the story. It's really a great thing to find a page for a Tamil lit. on net. Great job!

I started reading PS only when iam 24. Really the great privilege of knowing the Tamil language is been realised only after reading PS. Tamilan endru sollvatharku perumaiyaaga irukkirathu. Kalki avargalin pulamaiyum nadayum migavum inimai. Tamil mozhi therindhadharkaana baakiyamae ippothu thaan kidaithathu. I can go on praising His work.

I've gone thro Ps for 4 times till now.....
Kalki's Historical play always make me feel like as if i was in that period....
Even i'm interested in writing plays and skits...
My fav is Poonguzhali and VT

PS was simply superb. There is no comparable story in Tamil lit.Characters like VT and Arulmozhi Azhvarkadian and Nandhini will be permanently etched in one's mind.

It is not so much the plot but the historical and cultural diaspora of Tamilnadu 1000 years ago that captivates ones mind. Who can ever forget Kalki's descriptions of the Cauvery Adiperukku festival in the very beginning of the novel and his portrayals of such terrible storms and floods as VT meets with in his sojourns in his service to the Chola Empire? Is there a greater suspense than the eternally unsolved mystery of Karikalan's murder? Kalki's common sense and his worldly wisdom are not qualities that one comes across easily in any other literature. Any number of readings of PS will hardly satiate one's literary hunger

PS is an eternal novel.Also the works of Kalki like Sivagamiyin sabadam are his masterpieces
It gives an excellent new experience and a great feel everytime we read it.
