What did Mr. Bhaarathiyar do? Tell me. He was a fool! The only good thing he ever did was, his contribution to Thamizh as a Thamizh poet, which also had it's limit. You have to know that Thamizh poets were patriotic Thamizh. Not like brahminic and brainwashed Bharathiyar who sang
"Sindhu nathiyin isai nilavinilae,
Chera ilanaatin pengaludanae
Suntharath Thelungkil(telugu) paatisaippoem"
You should know that during Bhaarathiyar time, Telugu Music was popular because of the fact Vijaya Nagar Kingdom ruled TN before the Europeans came, hence the songs were in Telugu music which made most of the Thamizhars to think Telugu had the best music. Then Some Thamizhans around his time, I believe, proved that wrong and started to sing in 'Thamizh Isai.'
There also a story that I have encountered that Bharathiyar was a 'marijuvana'(kanja) addict. I mean who else would sing a song like
Telugu music is better than Thamizh, being a Thamizh patriotic and not to mention how he said 'Singhalath theevukkup paalam amaippoem' saying that Eezham is Singhalese Island, where as 64% of the coastal area of so called Sri Lanka even now belong to Thamizhars!
Then the same Bharathiyar said
Yaamarintha Mozhikalil Thamizhmozhi poel
inithenkum kanoem, paamararaai vilangkukalaai...
Where Bharathiyar says Thamizh is a better language than any other languages (considering the fact he was fluent in Sanskirit and English as well as Thamizh).
Next thing with the 'Saathi' thing. I believe THIRU AP MASILMANI have recently said about what SAATHI could have rooted from, that is the root word 'saar' which mean to belong.
Whoever you are, how do you explain the usage of Sanskirit in Thamizh Temples? Give me one better reason why we need some alien eerie to be heard in Thamizh Temples, beside the fact, it can make fool out of Thamizhans and have brahmins employed on Thamizh welfare.
The word 'poosai' came from the roots 'poo' and 'seii'
The Aryans turned that into 'pooja' which unfortunatley is used by many Thamizhans without any understanding.
Poosai means to pray the God with flowers (poo=flowers). The Thamizhans prayed the God with flowers and no mandhiram or kindhiram was involved! During the Pallavar Time, the brahmins from north were brought in and were settled down in TN and were promoted to do poosai in Sanskirit and to bring 'mandhiram' and things into Thamizh Temples. The Pallavars also enforced Priest system into Thamizh Temples. The Thamizhans didn't have any priest system before that. Thirujanasambanthar says how poosai happened without priest system where everyone was allowed to do the poosai and etc.
Note that the Thirukkural says:
"Andhanar enpoer aravoormat tevuyirkkum
senthanmai poondozhuka laan"
I don't think the kural means, whoever loot Thamizhan is an Andhanar. The word Iyar also mean 'Periyar' or an Elderly and could also mean 'Santroor' I suppose.
I don't think there is anything wrong with blaming the brahimns for most of the things that happened to Thamizhans. However we Thamizhans are also to be blamed for letting such thing to happen.
Here are my reasons to hate Brahmins
Being freely employed in Thamizh Temples
Looting Thamizhans and brain-washing them and hiding the truth.
Many of them don't know anything about Thamizh religions beside some corrupted and perhaps well versed sanskirit mandhiram that some don't even know what it means but good money maker.
Using Sanskirit in Thamizh Temples!
For the deaths of Thirujanasambanthar and Maanikavasakar
For refusing to say Kudamuzhukku and preferring Kumbashikaekam. (Talk about mozhiveri[Language fanatics] how do you explain the brahmins for being sanskirit patriotic in Thamizh soil and saying Sanskirit is better than Thamizh? Not to mention about using it in Thamizh Temple!)
The brahmins have benz and mercedy while the Thamizhans can't afford bus tickets (that's how it seem in Canada). The peggy bank talk.
Most of the Urbaners are brahmins in TN. They always spread anti-Thamizh propagandas. Control THAMIZH MEDIAS (TV, CINEMA, RADIO, NEWSPAPERS). I could list more If we go deeply into these situations.
ONE MORE THING:
I believe you would have heard of the incident where Kannadists protested in front of a Thamizh Theatre for playing Thamizh Film (The place was in Karnatakam).
Where as Thamizh Actors like Mr. Pirabhudeva, Mr. Rajini are foreigners not to mention how many actresses are non-Thamizh (you could say more than 90%). This alone could prove how brainwashed Thamizhars are!

This kural has the fact. Just check it yourselves. If you have that attitude then you
are an andhnar. Andhanar does not mean a particular sector of society people. Instead
you have to have that quality. It is a matter of quality. that is all. Any body has
that attitue or quality they are andhanar.
In my perception the siva bhakthar 'NANDHANAR' is an andhanar.
but are an andhanan? rate yourself.
And I am not interested in arguing with '* VERIYARS'.

i am mahalakshmi from anna university. i read sridharGS and few other's discussions. and, friends, sorry if my words are going to hurt all of you!!! i can't help...i hope, but you all will realise at last, what is my intention...

1. There is no purpose questioning well re-knowned poets like Bharathi, dasan and others..with reference to their community. The discussion is "Is Tamil a best classical language?"
2. everybody have their own idea of castism and language,leave it... if connected with caste and restricted only to a particular community, there is a chance of death of that language. As we all know, sanskrit because it was restricted to Brahmin sector, now, has no existence...DO YOU ALL WANT THE SAME FATE FOR TAMIL LANGUAGE TOO..?????
Nedunchezhiyan...a critic should be well-organized and advanced to make his criticism, first know that!! "Sindhu nathiyin misai" song insists National Integration."vangathil Odi varum neerin misaiyaal , maiyathu naadugaLil payir seiguvOm" has resulted in the presently visualised SETHU project....Irrespective of Bharathi as a Kanja addict or not, he has told the right thing only...for kavithai/literature-tamizh, songs-telugu...(thats why....sunthara thelunginil paatisatihu... yaamarintha mozhigalile tamizh mozhi pOl) you cant boast Tamil has got everything...Everything else also has equal qualities as well....you are a good criticisor, we accept...but can we all expect that you are the best, pushing SUPPUDU to a place down..?? I expected much in reading all the posted discussions, that i would get something to publish in my article for the London magazine "Yaazh" ..but disappointed. It would be better, instead of silly communal violent arguments like this, if you all can really propose, what all could be done to actually visualise tamil as a classical language ....people like me would be grateful to communicate your ideas to authorities here at Tamil Virtual University, Tidal Park,Chennai and International Instt. of Tamil studies, Taramani, Chennai etc...
Tamil has been declared as a classical language. So to my opinion, i think, we can demand/ deserve all these..
1. Conducting Civil service and Group 1 examinations in Tamil, so that , more Tamils will be absorbed into government services like north indians...I think you all are aware that in July, ManMohanjee has proposed a common entrance to government services after +2, similar to entering professional/engineering degree.
2.Translation of Tamil literatures into other international languages....
3. Creation of Tamil language studies department in well known foreign/american universities so that more global mass are provided to taste the essence of Tamil...What for..??? then, our culture, tradition would get wider recognition.
4. Even we can make a request with Maran junior to contribute his Ministry of Information Technology in learning Tamil literature through the EDUSAT sent a couple of days back...to implement e-learning for Tamil. (appadi paartha muthala namma software pasanga/ponnungala thaan muthalil ukkaara vechi tamil solli kudukkanum....salambarathu onnum solli mudiaathu...)
ippadi niraiya niraiya....type your ideas and send CC to PM, DMK chief, Vaiko, Maran junior, ..why not.. to our Dr. APJ itself...We have enough representatives from here to get things done...It is not that only Maran's technical mind should plan things..You all are equally qualified/educated like him..you can/have to propose productive things.....and it will be done...

I have sent a previous mail to our president and have even got a reply from president cell to further send the ideas regarding this...Hope you all utilise your free time in productive goal-oriented arguments which leads to a unique conclusion...

Just because you all have got enough free time and free internet access, you cannot say anything and everything as to hurt others..and it is my advice that if you have realised your foolish, you will keep things quite..for these things accelerate communal violences...Listen to the Tamil Internet 2004 conference (Tamizh Inaiyam-2004) to be held at singapore by december... we are conducting a session regarding this so-called useless forums/sites/online magazines in the name that they do good to Tamil society/language and community. i have told enough of this to people connected with that conference.
We are keen on restricting these idiotic things that may affect the Tamil future and Tamil's future...We have to be vey keen that the intenational community has started watching us now, what we say about Tamil is being listened and recorded every second internationally...all foreign universities/governments are interested in issues to improve our Tamil....It is only we (YOU ALL) who dont utilise that!!!
