NO 2, IT DOESN'T BORROW WORDS FROM OTHER LANGUAGES(SOMETIMES, SANSKRIT WORDS R USED, BUT THERE ARE TAMIL WORDS WITH THE SAME MEANING WHICH CAN DEFINITELY BE USED IN PLACE OF THE SANSKRIT WORDS)

Tamil the word i breath.Whatever the languages be in the world .Translating a word is really a difficult from other language.Bharathi the national poet who said tamil is the best language.

DISCUSSION AND CONFLICTS!
Well nice topic this is. Some of the discussions impressed me with how much knowledge you have and how much you love Thamizh. Some of you said Every one's mother language is gold to them such as, "Kaikum than kunchu pon kunchu." Best and Worse isn't the matter in Thamizh. Thirukural is a book which give advice to any one on the world to live their life wisely and happily and it give lot of advices. Because Thirukural is well known doesn't mean it's the only Thamizh literature evidence or the best one we have. Thirukural show how was the Ancient Thamizh sharing their knowledge with the other world. I don't know about lot of Current Thamizh ppl but for sure i can say that we respect our Language same as other's. If we wanted to influence our language we would have done it around the world same with our ancient religion Sivam or Sivanijam. You should know that we had big power even when we had small amount of ppl compare to the world at that time i mean 2000+ years from now. However we think our language as the ancient one where all the language evolved or born from us. But unfortunality we don't have any physical evidence i mean much of them. As far as we know that every language had it's writing in symbols. about 2,500 years ago and we know our ancestors used to live in Pakistan and in Northern India and around Gujarath. This maybe a evidence how our language spread around and then made different languages. This is what some of us say but someone say this without being as Thamizh. He was from Great Britain and wrote a book about Thamizh culture and Language and how it was spread around the world and how it is now and how did other language borned from the world. Unfortunality i don't know the name of the book, but i know the Author name was Goal Brook. This is the sort summary about this discussion.
LANGUAGE MIX AND THAMIZH LITERATURE.
We do have some sanskirit in our language, it doesn't mean we don't have original root of that word in Thamizh. We do! Yes we do and we have lot of synonyms for one word infact. The fact is because we don't learn it that's why we don't know it. There is more than 200,000 words in Thamizh, still we lost more words than that during this 1600 years of our past. Still we have lot of words and u don't need to know the whole things to speak pure Thamizh. You only need to know 5,000 words that's all. If you want to be a poetry or as a 'Pulavar' u may need to know more than 10,000 words so you can be a good one. But even with knowing 5,000 words u could sure be strong it's just u need to know how to say sentences shortly and wisely and to use more than one word to describe one thing.
THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE IN OTHER COUNTRIES WHO DUN KNOW WHO AISWARYA RAI IS.... SO WUD U BASE HER BEAUTY UPON HOW WELL-KNOWN SHE IS?

Aiswarya is not some beauty. For one thing i don't think they are choosing a beautiful women. First of all whoever do this World Beauty Contest don't know what in the world they are doing. First of all the beauty they are choosing should be good in heart and in her behaviour and also in outside include looking. Most important thing is 'Katpu.' I guess Aiswarya never heard of that so does the world except Thamizh people and I mean the Thamizh who are living in rural side not the one who live in Urban side i mean lot of the ppl in Urban side because they sure don't know these things even though they are good at Education.
MY OPINION;)
From my opinion i would say Thamizh is the best language on the world and never afraid that we'll lose Thamizh in the future because there would be more Illango more Valuvar, Parathi, Sambanthar, and lot of other Pulavar will return and they'll make Thamizhl better than it is now. It doesn't mean we just sit and say, oh right those guys will come and we'll sit and just u know have fun. Wrong Pal! Wrong! We should respect and guard our language! Without our language we'll be dump as dump. First let's make Thamizh get into our own ppl. Then spread it around the world. If someone here know 'Iyar' or someone just tell them to pray god in Thamizh not in Sanskirit. Whenever we believe to ourself that our Thamizh language is best then the world will know and shall follow.

As ThiruJanaSambanthar said, "Senthamizh payan ariya anthaka manthikal" I'm saying the same thing! If we don't know how much Thamizh worth how could a foreigners know about it. It's all come to religions.
THAMIZHL LANGUAGE SITUATION AND THAMIZH PEOPLE!.
Some of us changing our Religion and these days Christian has more influences. You can change religion if you like. But I would prefer not to because in these days religions all change ur culture same with ur history and ur language! So plz don't change ur religion even if u change it plz be Thamizh and name ur self as Thamizh don't name in Sanskirit or in English or in any other Language. If you don't that mean u are insulting our Culture and our Civilization same with our LANGUAGE!! Plz don't do that and live along with Thamizh one day it'll be the only Language of the world. Yes friend it'll be and we should work hard to make it as that.
REASON FOR WHY THAMIZH AND THAMIZH PPL UNKNOWN:]
The world is more like Village that's the problem. When the world is like a village that mean 80 millions Thamizh is like a dot on the world compare to the world population which is more than 6 million and increasing. It's funny that Thamizh population is decreasing compare to the World Population!! Before 5000 years ago we had half of this population! Then more than 25 millions of us died and changed our culture during Ariyan Invasion! Then we had around 5 millions who came to Thamizh Nadu about 3000 years ago or before that. More than 2 million went to north such as to countries like Mongolia where now they have Chinese and Thamizh mixed up which they call Mongolia i believe or maybe they had Mongolia at that time and Thamizh got mixed up there. Then other 3 millions mixed up with Sanskirits they are the one who are part of the ppl speak Telungu, Thuzhlu, Kannada. In these where later Kerala came 600 years ago approxmatley. Now Thamizh Nadu population is around 60 millions and Thamizh around Thamizh Nadu Province are more than 5 millions. In other part of India there is more than 2 millions than the provinces which are near to Thamizh Nadu and in Malaysia there is a million i believe and in Thamizh Eelam there is 5 million and in Canada 200,000 and in England there is 300,000 and in Singapore there is some same with south Africa and other South Asian Coutries and other part of the world. Only problem is ppl who went as labour during British Colonize time didn't have knowledge of Thamizh since they were workers that's why whoever setteled don't speak Thamizh but have some cultures in them.
WHAT SHOULD WE DO?^_^
If all of us want to save Thamizh then all the ppl in Thamizh Nadu I mean Thamizh in there to understand and have a felling for Thamizh and be more educated i mean women and men same with boys and girls. Then we should get a country in Thamizh Nadu then it'll change our history and world will know Thamizh Language same with our Power.

Do you know that my real name is not in Thamizh? Lol I actually changed my name over the Internet only my friend and my family and couple of other ppl know that i changed my name. I want to change it to Thamizh name then again i can't change it's like being against my father and mother:) I would probably change it with their permission if they accept it or i'll change later on when i'm 60 or let's see 70 how about 100? Lol anyway so what u say we start a 'mantram' about saving Thamizh language and the History of Thamizh and do u know that Egyptian, Mayan, East African [ it's like north east], Aboriginal Austrailian, Aboriginal people in Burma, Malysia came from Thamizh root? They went to these places due to becoming rich and owning things and countries.

About thousands of years ago we lived as group like Monkey packs. That time we wanted i mean our ancestors it could u or me lol anyway when we wanted Gold and a country we separated and went to different sides and to different areas. Some went to North and some went West and some went South and some went to another continent. Some crossed Big Oceans. The big problem was as they went away from us their language changed it's they spoke a language which was slightly different then due to 'Aniyar' [Eneme] Language and their invasion they began to speak a Language which's core was Thamizh and outside it was something else. They couldn't save their culture and the only bad thing we had was, Penn [women] Aasai [since Kings had more power i don't mean Women didn't have enough power they had but they didn't come to rule the country since Thamizh women's were so kind and generous]. Ponn Aasai [wanted Gold badly] and Country Aasai. From other ppl Opinions they say, " Sangath Thamizh Pullavargal made the young mens and each Thamizh Country to fight with in. This is the weakness we had with the Ariyan Religious Invasion:(.
What would be These people reaction, who went away from us and now all the sudden we say we and u are brother hood! If we come to that then this and if there any other Planet around it would speak Thamizh. These people wouldn't accept it unless we have any physical proofs or Human Proof [sound funny?] Yes i mean one of these guys who went away from us have to come to present time [it will not happen in our age or in this century]. But there maybe some reaction which may let them join but the lock for this is '8' word. RELIGION!!! and some other things but Religion. Even Thamizh have conflict's between them due to this and u know the prob we can't get together unless we want to or we realize or maybe after Death.
If the world want to choose one Language as a national one and have 3 or 2 Language as other Offical what Languages would come in these Places and what would be the National Language and What would be the ppl reaction? Plz post it on this forum and i ask 'Tamilian' Permission to do this thank you.

By the way Barathi is not the one who said Thamizh as the best language nor Thiru Jana Sambanthar! Then who? Me ? lOl hehe it's not funny it's the Tamil's who said that and who still saving this language and we should thank to the Whole Past Thamizh Generation. They thought Thamizh Language as best even though some hated do to the influence of other language.
