Hey,
I strongly believe that tamil language has its own roots and is independent from any other language in the world. But I now have a doubt. Is the word "kamam" in tamil is derived from Sanskrit or not. Because in sanskrit too we have "kama".

Thiruvalar A P MASILMANI avargaLae!! nanRi!
//Thiru Neduncheziyan avargale! I trust you find the above interesting.//
Yes it is intersting.
I have a question regarding 'atom' and its finding in Thamizh. Although the Europeans found about electron, proton and neutron in 15 or 16th century and that the Greek never believed that you could separate an atom, Thamizhars knew about this long before. Although there are no evidence suggesting the use of electricity etc linguistic evidences and the late Chozhar Empire points out the understanding about 'atom' by Thamizhars. The concept about energy where it says energy can't be created or destroyed is mentioned in 'Saiiva Siththaantham' from the Chozha Empire Time. Although there are 'scientific' words for proton, electron and neutron in Thamizh like 'minnaNnu' and etc, I once read on a newspaper article the words 'kaaththal,' 'padaiththal,' 'azhiththal' represented these three sub-atomic part of an atom. Not to mention the fact 'avvaiyar'(was there three Avvaiyars in the Thamizh history?) say, "aNnuvaith-thuLaiththu ezhu kadalaip Pukatti
kurukath thariththa kuraL"

Thiru A P MASILMANI avargaLae!!!
Do you remember this post you posted on the link below?
//Tamil grammarians divided words mainly into two categories, idukuRippeyar and karanappeyar.(also there is a third karana idukuRi.)
The meaning of “maNN” Áñ became apparent only after his research//
http://www.forumhub.com/tlit/7865.09.09.50.html
if maNN came from mann ...what is the root of the word mann?

Thiru Neduncheziyan avarkale!!
Vanakkam. What you have written about aNu is good. I agree.
The root of maNN is man (Áý )
man - nilaipeRRathu (something permanent or the basis of other things.) mannuthal - nilaipeRuthal. ÁýÛ¾ø = ¿¢¨Ä¦ÀÚ¾ø

Thiru Neduncheziyan avargale!!
mul > muul > muulam.
Óø > ãø > ãÄõ
mul > muuL > muuLuthal (= starting )
Óø > ãø > ãû > ãÙ¾ø =¦¾¡¼í̾ø ( ¸Ä¸õ ãñ¼Ð; ¾£ ãñ¼Ð )
- From: A P MASILAMANI (@ cache203.156ce.maxonline.com.sg)

CONTD
mul > mun (front). munnuthal. ( to think, to think as something of priority, to bring foward and reflect on it )
mun > muni(thal) > muni(vu )> muni(var).
mun > munai > muvaivar.
mun > man > mannuthal (nilaiperuthal).
man > mannuyir
man > manithan
man > maanthan.
mul> mun > man > maNN.
Thus, the great great granddad of maN is mul.
The above as rendered by Etymologist Prof DevaneyappaavaaNar ( given briefly).

Dey kal-k !!
//280 words describing rainfall and other forms of water.....understand? //
Shitbrain kal-kal himself does not know any of the 280 words. Can you idiot tell me how the heck you are going to speak Sanskrit to your neighbour to tell him that it is raining when you do not even know any word to describe rain!!
Lets assume A knows 10 words for rainfall.
But B knows another 10 words from a different segment of the 280 words.
How are they going to say it's raining!!
Do you know now why it was never a spoken language??
ACTADUMMIES IN INDIA funded by the Govt have to pay people and give them free food and lodging to get them to speak the "language"??
You bloody prize idiot kal-k!!
