There have been a few poets in Sourashtra language who have
contributed significant contributions in Tamil. I was reading some
works of a saint called Nadana Gopala Nayagi swamigal.
He was also a composer and has written beautiful verse in
sourashtra language. His occasional attempts in Tamil language are
equally delightful too:

They have a distinct sourashtra flavor which gives them a kind of
charm in Tamil. This flavor is a distinct feature of the short stories

There used to be a popular poet in SL named Memon Kavi. He belonged to a miniscule minority of Shia Muslims from Pakistan (Memons or Meo) who learnt Tamil in SL and eventually became a celebrated poet.
