Hi All,
Its nice to be back. Did any of you visit the URL in this thread which tells you where to go for the complete guide to stains removal. Meanwhile it is my pleasure to answer the few unanswered and life's "persistent" questions ;-)
Acid stain in baby's bassinet - I agree with another forum member - please replace it.
Grease and wax stains in your jeans - get it dry cleaned or else use some solvent like petrol to clean it - indeed you have to be absolutely careful while using such solvents.
Nail Polish - on Lace - use nail polish remover.
And finally this is a challenge - yellowed wool due to heat - I am going to make a suggestion - pls try on 1 string / part of the fabric which is hidden and if it works, try on rest. Use white wine vinegar and try - if it causes any damage / further yellowing or shrinking of the wool, you should stop, else I would think that this is your best solution.

For wax on jeans, try the following. I'm not sure if it works, but I've heard it does.
Place a sheet of brown paper on the waxed portion and place a hot iron. The wax is supposed to melt and stick to the paper. Remove paper quickly. Try it..hope it works. Good luck!

there is a chemical named goof-off you can but it at home depot. it woorks on ol dried latex paint, caulk, glues, marker and pen ink, white correction fluid, crayon, asphalt, tar, lipstick, gum, grease, scuff marks, candle wax, printers ink and more. I have personally used it and it is a miricle. It says it is ok for clothing but you have to pretest.
TRY IT YOU WILL BE AMAZED A SMALL CAN IS 3.00
