I dont know if this fits exactly under the Poems/Kavidaigal section, but I received this from a friend and thought might be interesting to share it with all the Forum Hubbers.
*************************************************
Interesting Thoughts.............
1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.
2. No man is worth your tears, and the one who is ,won't make you cry.
3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have
them.
6. Never frown, even when your are sad, because you never know who is falling in love
with your smile.
7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR A REASON.

Hello Shakespeare,
Its true how most of us get an education to get a job and make money but never stop think about doing something to the society, its a thought that really makes you stop & ponder....
Its funny everytime I write "Hello Shakespeare", I feel like I am literally talking to William Shakespeare.... Just out of curiosity, was that thought written by William Shakespear???
Cheers

Hi Nithya,
That saying about education was written by W.B.Yeats, the poet. And i'm sure it was not meant as a reprimand to those of us who got an
education so that we could earn some money. what is the harm in that? rather i think it was meant to remind teachers of the true function of education. which is to plant ideas in the mind, so that they take root and go down from generation to generation lightingour way through time and space.as another saying puts it, " Ideas lift civilization. They create revolutions. There is more dynamite in an idea than there is in many
bombs" - Bishop Vincent (any idea who this man is? searched all over. couldn't find any reference.) Powerful thought, isn't it?

Hello Shakespeare,
Thank You for further explaining and educating me about that quote.
Ideas lift civilization. They create revolutions. There is more dynamite in an idea than there is in many
bombs" - Bishop Vincent. Yes, indeed a very powerful thought....I am sorry unfortunately I do not know who Bishop Vincent is, I'll try to do my part of the research and if I find out I'll let you know.
Cheers

WORLD OF SMILES
*****************
Author Unknown
About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University's Museum of Natural History. One day while working at the cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair. As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair. I then realized she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots. As the couple wheeled her up to me I was looking down at the register. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world; a world of smiles, love and warmth. That was ten years ago. I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

Hi, everbody!!
Some more thoughts from famous people.
How you think about a problem is more
important than the problem itself. So
always think positively.

Wake up! Be vigilant! Work with tremendous energy.... Let bygones. You can have everything back. Unfold all the latent faculties and powers of your soul. The whole mystery of Nature will be unravelled unto you. Living in the world dispassionately and doing selfless service is the noblest of all Sadhanas.... He who works in the world with the feeling that he is serving the Lord in all names and forms, will eventually reach God-consciousness. The more you spend your energy in serving others, the more divine energy will flow to you.....

It was once remarked to Lord Chesterfield that man is the only CREATURE endowed with the power of laughter.
"TRUE," said the peer, "and you may add, perhaps, that he is the only CREATURE that deserve to be laughed at."....

Interesting thought I have read
Glass Of Water
He raises a glass of water and asks the audience
"How heavy do you think this glass of water is?"
"It depends on how long you hold it"
"If I hold it for a minute, it is Ok."
"If I hold it for an hour, I will have an ache in my right arm"
"If I hold it for a day, you will have to call an ambulance"
"It is the exact same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes"
If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, we will not be able to carry on, the burden becoming increasingly heavier.
