Chandra:
I really admired your first posting but in the same breath I have to say you could have avoided the second one especially because you did not know what had happened. I, for one, had requested the Hub admin through email to delete the postings of both Sivakumar and Udhaya. I am sure many other Hub friends would have requested likewise.And when the Hub did delete the entire thing, I felt whatever injustice had been done to Udhaya and\or Sivakumar was corrected.And I was so so happy that we were back to kavidhaigaL.
I will use and stretch your words, Chandra.
Let peace and poetry prevail here.
O, have to say this to kr iyengar. Your thoughts have a Zen quality. Please stay with us.

Cricket
Oh cricket's a passion with us;
A time when we wear our jingoistic hats;
Hopes rise and soar with every ball;
A nation laughs and cries with each shot;
A catharsis of emotions
bundled in twenty-two yards;
and in a smoke-filled room
where results and money are bartered.

Welcome kr iyengar.Your killi triggered my nostalia. I had played killi as a school boy on the streets of Gopalapuram, Madras. yes, the same place where Karunanidhi would later play political killi:-)).
kanni is literal translation of maiden.
bb, very nice!

Thanks to Chandra...Kanchana..and Ramji
I respect Tamil...but love my people. Always I wanted the "gifted ones" should not seek cheap popularity and should serve to the world.
My thoughts and freedom to comment on products launched in public were seiously undermined by Udahya..his bunch of blind supporters and the admin body [ who I trsut has no clue about kavithaigal ]. I am hurt.
Udahya has all the right to mention Gandhi but not me because I did not preach to the world so far.
In any event..I am sorry to write again in this thread.

Please Ramji....Chandra.......& Kanchana...why don't you see me in my thread..at least we will try to do something good to our people through what we possess.
Again A small request to the Spider Admin.....As I refrain from commenting about you & Udhaya...I too ask you to refrain from writing about me any more.
Bye.

Thanks 'Shrusti' Kartha. kalaignar plays political chess isnt it? Your humour is good.
By playing cricket in the heart, bb made me to think more and because of that I would like to request Fh jaambavankal to write about games( any game which is limited to censor) in udhayaas noolizhai.(Hope udhaya will grant permission). (mounak kaanchana, marabu arularasan, gokul,udhaya,ramji and other friends).

I got goose bumps from the way you addressed me. Incidentally, in the field of kavidhaigaL, I am more a spectator. You were too generous in grouping me with my favorite players:-))

I found it too hard to read your trans-Tamil. Can you please write in Tamil font? Same request to kr for future.

sathiya, the easiest thing to do is to download the software of inayam, http://www.inayam.com/ , and install all the thamizh fonts in it. to post in thamizh, see http://forumhub.com/howto.html .
(if u want just anjal, u can download it from http://www.murasu.com/ ). if u r in a unix machine, send me a mail.

kr iyengar, good follow-up poems. expect to see more of u here!
here's a terrifying y2k poem:-)
'The Second Coming'
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
-- William Butler Yeats
from Michael Robartes and the Dancer, 1921.
