Do most Indians have the same taste when it comes to Western pop/rock? Do most Indians have the same taste when it comes to Western pop/rock?

This is something that has always intrigued me...whenever I have looked thru CD collections at someones house, it almost always seems to be the same set of CD's. Most of them seem to be very 70's oriented (JethroTull,Eagles,Doors etc.). Note that I am not passing judgement on any of these bands, but just find it curious that a vast majority of Indians into rock listen to the same stuff (to relieve their college days maybe?). Even 20-something Americans don't seem to be into the 70's catalog (my friend jokes that a JethroTull concert is really an IITans-get together).

I know this forum has folks with really diverse tastes and its possible I am making sweeping generalizations here, but just want to know if someone else feels the same way.
