I was wondering if anybody out there could refer me to a good India beer. I am throwing a party and were serving Indian food so i thought it would be a good idea for the drinks to be indian too. please let me know, also I found this site called www.ebates.com that offers discounts at other sites like Wine.com and send.com. You get like 5% to 10% just for going to ebates.com first, pretty sweet deal. Take a look.

No 1 I huess you in the continental USA if so you can get your hands on Kingfisher which in my opinion is a good lager bear very suitable if you are living in the Southern USA .
Or else you can try Golconda i am not sure you can find it so commonly like KIngfisher.. I am not aware of any other kind.

There are quite a few Indian Beers available in the market today, but finding an authentic beer from India is the key. I do not believe a beer made other than from India can be called an Indian Beer,(Kingfisher and Taj Mahal soon to be made in California). So here's one that all my friends and myself drink at the Indian Restaurants is called PALISADES LAGER. Real Smooth and Genuine.

Indian beer is lousy. All they make is some tasteless lagers which people are happy to drink in the absence of anything better.

Regarding Indian Beers available in the United State, the best would be the ORIGINAL imported ones! These I recommend Haywards 5000, Golden Eagle Premium Lager Beer, & Royal Challenge. Not only do these best sell very well, but they possess lots of good complex flavors too! Goes well with all Indian dishes from Tandoori chicken, Samosa, Chappati, Kebab,to Masala etc.. If you ever make a trip to India, these beers will surely help you form a closer bond with the locals too! Also, I highly recommend you try Old Monk Rum World's No. 1. AWESOME dark rum! Lots of everything in it! Visit our website to find more information about these products and many more! Please give me a ring and let me know about the beers etc. We luv feedback! <3 <3 <3

Has Wine for Spice finally extinguished that burning question of the ideal Wine to drink with curry? Following successful trials in London, Wine for Spice's "wine to add a sparkle to curries and spicy food" semi-sparkling Raja Rosé, Viceroy White and Rani Gold are to be launched this October in the UK.
I normally drink beer or sparkling water with curries and it occurred to me that a naturally fermented semi-sparkling young wine with not as much fizz as Champagne and Cava would add a zing to and bring out the flavours of Asian food. But not aerated wines as the gas soon fizzles out or those sickly drinks that taste like fizzy sweetened grape juice.
I don't drink flat warm beer with my curry - so why should I drink flat warm wine with it?
Wine for Spice's wines are produced and bottled in Spain by the pre-eminent producer of semi-sparkling wines.
