Udhaya,
There is a beer in India called lal toofan?:-)
Kenyan Brews are quite good. My favorite is Tusker:-)
How come there is no american beer in the list?:-)

Gokul,
I recently tried Tusker. Yes, I liked it a lot. Except for a few micorbreweries, Americans don't know how to make decent beer. The average American beer is so light and watered down that I don't bother drinking it.
Notable exceptions:
Sierra Nevada
Pyramid
Samuel Adams
Pete's Wicked Ale
Anchor Steam
forgot to add Cananda to the list above.
Canada
LaBatt's (a pilsener)
Molson
Moosehead

Dear Friends in the Beer thread: I'm ashamed to read you guys, like the westerners, disguss the splender of alcohol. I thought we are a society known for its purity, cleanliness and chase life.
You all understand how prostitution is practissed? Due to weakness of the mind and lack of morality and chastity this practice still goes on. But it is not done so openly and glamourously. Even one who enjoys imoral sex life would'nt proudly publisize it so openly. I'm talking about tamil culture. It is in the same manner drunkenness is practised and for the same reason as sex. I admit there are many tamils who are not like me, who don'nt want even to taste it. At least I would expect you guys play it low.
Or are you all trying to show the westerners and Americans that you are not in any way lesser than them in the use of alcahol? Or you all forgot your parents and the tamil/Indian culture? It is a pitty.
I know the kind of reaction I'll get from you gentlemen. I'm not going to bother about it. At least I'll be glad I've pricked your consciouness.
Alcoholism is a disease. 'Kuditthavan kudumbam kedum", period.
In the first place alcahol is not food per say. I would like to request the forum organisers to remove alcohol from the international food. Let us keep our integrity or 'perumai and pughazhl". Let us not join the crown to say 'we are making money".

It is interesting to see the International food is nothing but alcohol. There goes the Tamil/Indian culture into the drains in America.

K.Adaikalam,
Any day society benefits more from someone like me with a liberal attitudfe than from someone judgemental guy like you who has already figured out what's right and wrong and has rigid opinions and slots to itemize people and behavior.
Go and liberate your mind. A closed mind is a shame. I'll have a beer in honor of your unlikely but hopeful progress. Cheers.

How come you left out the Pilsner Urquell from Prague, I think it is one of the best refreshing brews it Kicks in very slowly and stays longer.
There are many good breweries in Bohemia and Czech republic than anywhere else, The Budweiser
in fact is a czech brew but it has been diluted.
Budweiser is not a bad beer, it is ideal for summer Days.
Foster's Lager is also good,Do any of you guys know how the Beer works in the digestive track!!!!for Instance the kick from a Dark beer stays longer because the Maltodextrose is a very big chained organic compound and the enzymes in stomach take long time to digest it thats why you have a prolonged kick,in milder brewes the organic chain is week and it could be broken easily by the enzymes.
Please try http://www.Kingfisherworld.com/
Kudos to all Beer Lover ,It is the Essence of life,Enjoy it when and where needed.

Little out of topic. Following on Adaikalam's lines, here is yet another practice happening.
Came to know this restaurant Bombay Bistro 371 George street, near Rutgers campus(New Brunswick) is starting to have mid-eastern traditional dancing (nice way of saying **** belly dancing from the posters on the restaurent walls) women starting July 27th 2000 while
you eat your favorite Indian dishes.----This SUCKS...Any indians out there any comments on these practice at Indian Restaurants.
