I watched this movie couple days back. It is a movie worth watching. Once again you have a deliberately slow paced movie so as to keep the viewers guessing as to how the movie is going to end. Hang in there if you find it dragging a bit in the begining, you will gradually get interested in both the story and the characters. Like the sixth sense this movie also as a surprise ending but it is not as effective as the former. If you can agree with the basic premise then you might feel this is a great movie.

Manoj Shyamalan is rapidly becoming one of the most talked about directors in Hollywood following the steps of speilberg and lucas. He sure sees thinks differently and his able to portray it in a unique way. Another aspect of the director is to bring about the human emotions of the characters. In sixth sense he appealed to me (that is if you overlook the mind blowing ending) because of the way he brings about the relationship between mother and a son who does not want his mother to feel that he is a jerk. Same goes for the doctor and patient relationship. In unbreakable there are similar sequences that proves that the director not only understands the bond but also makes the viewers empathize with the characters. I have many more interesting insights from the film. Like minded forum members can post their views and we can discuss these aspects in detail.

The bottom line "Sixth Sense" had a much more stronger script and very few lapses. Unbreakable falls short in this aspect
