This is a film about innocents caught in a civil war. I see most of you do not seem to understand this basic fact. This stands in its own.
This is a story of a entire society. This is the plight of us, eelam tamils. If you would have born and burnt your life in eelam then you will understand this story well.

Hey there guys,
I can't explain how muck i love K.M, it is an excellent movie. I love the way Mr.Mani has directed it, he is one of the BEST tamil directors.
I watched the movie in the cinema where u have the wicked sound system. The bit where amutha's real dad dies from suicide bomb really killed me while i was watching it. Amutha's acting is superb,and the other two boya r sooo cute.
Everyone has acted very well in the movie and Nandhita has worked really well understanding the situation of her role.
I would like to say one more thing, when i watched the beginning where they spoke with a Jaffna accent i felt ashamed because they don't speak it properly and it looks like they r making fun of it. It is good that there is atleast one film without duet or any comedians. i would give 9/10 for this movie. I would like to wish good luck to director Mani Rathnam for the future, and thak u for spending your time reding this.

I like Mr.Maniratnam and his movies. he is a one of the greate directers in the tamil cinemaworld."kannaththil Muththamiddal" is a best film. Mr. Mani tried to bring out the real conflict in srilanka.all the tamils from srilanka(Tamileelam) must see the film. Madhavan's and Simren's acting is good, Amudha's acting is best.
I would like to give 10/10 for this film

KM is simply Superb Movie. Congratulations to Mr.Maniratnam for giving such a fantastic movie of the year.
Amuatha's acting is just amazing. Madhavan and Simran's acting are very good as a parents. As for Nandhitha Das we should give a salute for her tremendous acting skills.
Wonderful songs like "KANNATHIL MUTHAMMITHAL" and "VELLLAI POKKAL" by ARR Rahman simply the best.
Best wishes tO the Best Director Mr.MANIRATNAM.

kaynatil muttu mittal was one a great film i have evr sen with the sinhalese sub titles . Because lots of international films try to indicate the bad activities of sl army even they didnt show ant bad activtys of ltte.
maniratnam shows the good and bad points of both sides.and he tells sinhalise people are not extermists by charatres like hareld wickramasinge.
these types of films helps for the pece process in srilanka.
