Thanks Mach.
Hello qingqing,
Nice to hear lot of informations from you.It reminds me my school days,we have studied henayanam and mahayanam.ok.I understood your views. But I couldn't answer your question "Why india support Thalai lama?".Because you descripted that he is representing some violence, which is a news for me.If you don't mind can you tell me what is the problem between him and china, what kind of misactivities(whom he targetted to kill) he has done and what for?I beleive that India is not a country to support any kind of terrerism. One of the chineese ambassador gave a statement "India has influenced many east asian countries like Thailand, burma, cambodia, china without sending a single soldier or armed force crossing its border" .I can see many Indian culture here in Cambodia, hope you know Ankor Watt, one of the seven wonders of the world ,situated in Cambodia, was built by Indians and dedicated to the Hindu Lord Vishnu. In history we can see many countries been influenced by India culturally, traditionally, relegiously but not politically, without occupying or capturing the places.
You are a different, interesting person,I really appreciate you for your interest in religious and historical aspects.
I have a doubt, that there is hand of western countries and USA for the poor relation between the two world's most populated countries. They always want to suppress asian countries ,that is why indirectly they want to maintain the problems between the countries like India,Pakistan and China.Unfortunately that is what happening now.But after heard about the warm welcome to our president ,visited china recently,I hope the relation between china and India will come to a better position.
Thanks,
Milton

India supports tibet mainly for political & reason. I have some indian friends and they all seem to regard tibet as closer to india than to china and therefore subconsciously they sort of think that tibet should never be a part of china if it is not a part of india. But the fact is tibet has become a part of china since yuan dynasty, which was there 5,6hundred years ago, and dalai lama has always been approved by the central government.
Dalai lama engaged in many terrorist activities in the 50s with the support of US & other western countries, according to a disclassified report that came out last year that cia provided millions of dollars to dalai lama for his military activities, part of it went to dalai’s own pocket as a personal allowance. The terrorists targeted chinese civilians such as teachers, doctors and government officials. Dalai lama’s dream was to bring back the feudal system to tibet. The old feudal government before the liberation of the surfs was extremely brutal, actually more brutal than many medieval records. My grandfather worked in tibet in the 50s as an engineer and he told us he used to see people without tongue and legs. That’s one of the most popular punishments to the surf by the feudal government. There were many more much nastier ones and I am not going to tell u here. U know normal tibetan kid were not allowed to schools and that’s why many of the kids who wanted education had to enter the buddhist monasteries, because that was the only way they could study. Tibetan lama used to enjoy absolute supremacy and that’s why the majority violence and terrorism were conducted by lamas not the farmers, ordinary tibetan farmers rarely joined them cause they are happy with the changes that happened in tibet, they have more rights and equality. According to I know that many tibetans went to india for economical reasons, they thought they could make a better living. dalai promised allowance for each person escaped from china, and if they participate in demonstrations or other anti china activities then extra bonus each time, some times thes promises don’t come true and quite many people actually wanted to return to china.
some western countries r using dalai lama as a pawn to their anti china mission. They created the image of a smiling humble lama who fights for ‘his country &his people’ which is complete untrue. I went to tibetan area for chinese new year this January and no tibetans I have met agreed with what he’s trying to do, which is to bring back the old feudal system to tibet.
U r right that indian culture has influenced many asian countries in the history, maybe it will continue to influence us in the future. There is no serious problem between india and china and the relaion between the two will surely improve.
I have never been to india and I wish one day I will visit your taj mahal and maybe bath in your ganga, that must be very interesting. Ok, I am going now, keep enjoying cambodia!

MY GOD YOU FOOLS! An Indian website, dedicated to Indian culture, specifically film and not ONE mention of Sajiit
Ray.... Bollywood is worse than Hollywood, and the only thing worse than Hollywood is Joan Rivers in tight leather, two iron castings,
chains etc... Sajiit Ray is a prolific, master film director, responsible for some of the greatest films of all time. He is lyrical
and poetic, with an uncanny ability to move his audience of all cultures with minimalist film techniques and lush character studies. Bridging both politics, religion, and spirituality his film reminds one of deep emotions and vibrant colors. If he is not supported by his own, how can he ever be
expected to live past his own time... sincerely a dirty pakki just like you

Why Hollywood is taking keen interest in computer enimated moves rather then using their own skills?

Bollywood isn't the only film industry in India.
Every state with a distinct language has its own movie industry.
Sadly, South Indian movies are much better in quality than Bollywood as of the recent decade.
As far as Hollywood flicks in India, I think they are overrated because it is very hard for Indians to understand the western state of mind, through which the movies are projected. So I think that Indians enjoy indian flicks more than they want to admit due to its closeness to their own culture.
I was young when I left India but I still remember how I felt about western flicks! :)
later! Raj

Dear Qingqing (is that true?)
Two of 'the most' talented people in films if and when they work together what do you think can be the outcome? That is what many music fans in south India are hoping. Ilayaraaja, the final authority on music, and M. Night Shyamalan, the most thrilling script writer in a long time working on a story about a musical phenomenon or even any strange story for Hollywood with a few songs and a fascinating score the likes of which Hollywood has not heard since 'Ben-Hur'. Anyone can take a Hollywood film with a few songs of Ilayaraaja and his background score? Is the world ready for the genius of Ilayaraaja?
For starters, please check out www.raajangahm.com
Let us hope for the best.
btw, Qingqing, I love Hollywood films for the technology, the thrills, the humor, the star lineup and talents for everything except the music. If you enjoy Indian films, try watching Tamil & Malayalam films of the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s. Ilayaraaja has composed music for over 800 films non-stop since 1976.

Shuttup Raj with your bigoted comments about anything north Indian. You sound pathetic. South Indian films better than Hindi? Which ones? The ones with Hindi actresses? Frankly, technically and logically most Indian films are the same. What do you know about films and filmmaking anyway?

hollywood films are far more better than bollywood films, they chage storeis they have horror, suspence, comedies, romantic comidies, action, western, martial arts, scientific movie they are so interestin to watch.Bollywood films just suck they are like comics they only make films with only love in it thats all and the moct horrible is they make movies about cultures which makes cultures in india fight against each other.Hindi films really suck, but other films like tamil, malayalam, kannada, and other kinds of films are really good they change the stories.
