Women's boxing team announced

HISAR: An eleven-member Indian team was announced here on Tuesday to participate in the first Asian women's boxing championship to be held in Bangkok from August 24 to 30.
The team was selected from 35 probables who attended the national coaching camp here, according to a spokesman of the Indian Amateur Boxing Federation.
The team: Karamjeet Kaur, Laxmi (Punjab); Meena Kumari, Sushma Kumari (Haryana); Geeta Chan, M C Kam, L Sarita, Jyomati Chan (Manipur), Jyoti Sharma (Delhi), Jaini (Mizoram), and Lekha (Kerala).
