Let me start this first note.
No body can dispute the fact that the sprint queens brought india to limelight in recent past atleast in the asian circle. In the Asiads of the yesteryears, India was sure to win atleast a couple of golds in the track and field events which gave a decent medals tally.
But one still wonders why they were not able to recreate their success in the olympics and other international events !!
