Well the decision which Mr. Swamy took in the end was not worth to his determination while dropping the offer of MIT,USA.
For while before starting your struggles with the Civil Services Exams a person who is determined to be an IAS must also take one note in his mind that acheiving success in the exam and becoming an IAS is not the only milestone in itself, infact the real life, struggles, problems all begin after you come in such type of situation as Mr. Swamy.
Its your only determination and will power that can and that will definitely overcome hurdles in your true and honest services.
Leaving your job is not the solution to ultimately satisfy your passion to serve the public.

I respect all the works you have done in your service life , but i am sorry to say that god gives this type of talent that you possess to only those whom he believes they can do the change but irrespective of more use of the your talent you possess, you quit !
After all god gives the problem hard only to those who are hard enough to face them ,
if you are given the tough task to face the reality you have to face till the work done .
If every capable IAS leaves the task and bend before politians where will the citizen like us go to raise our concerns !
i assure you when i will become an IAS officer
i will complete the task left by you in a unfortunate manner .
