age 22/f
i am into indian classical now
infact takin up carnatic music (sangeeth) here.
at the moment, i'm catching up on lots of instrumental music especially on tabla, santoor,
veena, flute and tambura
glad to have known you
pls share yr knowledge on music especially on tabla and if possible more on zakhir hussain pls
i am practically waking up and goin to bed with his music pieces only
wow! what a performance and he is definitely the god of tabla

iI study tabla 17 years,15 years with Pandit Sankha Chatterjee of Calcutta, student of Keramatullah Khan and Ustad Alla Rakha. I just now read the thoughts of all the Tabla Players,I am in the search of that student who is playing the tabla of Ust.Ahmedjan Thirakwa khansahib.
I am studying this type of tabla since from 2/3 Years from Pt.Narayanbua Joshi & Mr.Mukundrao Agashe,who are the deciples of late Ust.Ahmedjan Thirakwa khansahib.
They learn the tabla from Khansahib for up to 16 years.
I just want to know the other players who plays the tabla of Thirakwa Khansahib.
