Meaning:
Oh gOpAlaka ! I submit myself unto thy feet, protect me forever. All sins are amancipated by ur danity feet which are worshipped by Indra and others. Extolled by the virtuous, u astonished ur mother, who looked at u angrily knowing that u have eaten mud, by performing ur amazing magic of showing the whole universe, including mountains and oceans, inside of ur graceful lotus-like mouth. pAhi mAM is not a single word, but two words -
a verb and an object, the subject being gOpAlaka.
