Are there any websites that allows downloading of carnatic songs. My net connection is very congested and I am not able to listen to songs that some websites offer. I would like to download to my hard disk or to a CD. MP3 format preferable.

The best place to download mp3 files(all sorts of music) is www.audiogalaxy.com. U will have to download an executable, and then start searching all songs. There are a great collection of songs here.
