Tell me honestly, With due respects to Older gen,
Why are old & fragile people hankey-prankeying as organizers?
All products are marketed professionally, so should be music.
There are scores of musicians relying on this profession.
Lest we have thin audience mostly greyed.
my heart feels for the plight of performers who
wind up the concert 'coz only three of them are left (in front of them).
Organizers are to blame, for today, every musician has become a organizer owning a sabha & having a stake in another.
Let sense prevail on these less abled people.
It is extrememly difficult to organize a successful series of concert.
Today every thing is professional except organizing carnatic music concerts.

Perhaps the marketing people would just say 'this concert will only attract three people so it isn't worth holding'.
Yes, much concert organising leaves something to be desired, but shouldn't you be gald that some of those old, fragile people are prepared to give their time and effort?
Marketing people would end up giving us a choice of a dozen musicians singing only a few popular songs (maybe).
