Thanks for directing me to buy the mridangam in the US instead of in Madras. Yes...I believe some visiting Mridangam artistes should be able to sell theirs when they tour the US. I would request if anyone would know details of touring artistes in PA/CT/NY area. Please post

Refer to the RMIC posting by Mridangist J Balaji. He wants to sell 2 mridangams he had purchased before his US tour. Not sure if he is still in the USA.

Hi,
I believe there are several Indian music stores in New York where you could enquire for a Mridangam. I read a recent article about a music store in Manhattan run by Keshav Das. He buys the instruments in bulk from India and sells it in the US.
