from Denmark in Europe. I have learnt to play Tabla from Dildar Hussain who has played tabla whit Ustad Nusrat Fateh ali Khan.

Learn Piano Keyboard and Play Digital Tabla free without teacher with my technique. You have to download software from my website and attach Digital Tabla in your computer. Or play karaoke songs and record your own CD with my midi music of Hinid and Urdu songs.

Hi,
I am a tabla player living just outside Halifax, Canada. I am posting this because I would like to meet other tabla players (or indian classical music lovers in general) as there is not much of a scene for it in this city. I have been learning since I was about 5 years old under my father and recently, I went to Berlin Germany to study under Pandit Sankha Chatterjee (a disciple of Ustad Keramatullah Khan and Ustad Allah Rakha). My main interest is classical, but I do enjoy other forms also - folk, qawwali, ghazals, fusions. I will be performing here on June 27th, 2003 with a renowned director/composer/singer from india (Ramanujan Dasgupta). Please e-mail me at rsseyan@dal.ca if you would like to chat. As I said, there is not much of a crowd here for indian classical music (especially the younger generation like myself - I am currently 21) and I would like to be able to chat with others of similar interests.
