Hi:
The entire Ashtpadi (jayadeva's Gitagovinda maha Kavyam) is available in
http:/www.sanskrit.gde.to/index.html
and click on the "vishnu" link to get Ashtapadi,as well as numerous stotrams on Vishnu/Krishna. You can find the entire text in four different formats there: (i) ITX (plain english text in ITRANS convention of phonetics) (ii) GIF file (iii) XDVNG file (you need to download xdvng fonts) and (iv) PostScript (to view, one needs to install Ghostview). If you have difficulty accessing it there, I can send the material.

Hi:
Alternatively, you can browse
http://www.hscc.ner/sanskrit
go to the "vishhnu" link, and then click on Jayadeva's Astapadi and can either save the .itx file (plain English), or the .ps file (PostScript file which needs Ghostview utilities to view Sansrit text).

Ms. Anjana Kumar,
The ashtapadi is a great source to mine the navarasas. The Odissi and Chhau traditions as well as some Manipuri, do this very well.
Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra used to give lec-dems on this.
Since you have Jayadeva who wrote this exclusively in Sanskrit, it may be hard for some audiences to follow. I've also noticed some artistes dilute the intense shringaara rasa in this out of some misplaced sense of morality.
I would advise you to read the translations by Barbara Stoller-Miller of Jayadeva and the Chaurapancasika, with an open mind and heart.. andtake on this worthwhile project.
With my best wishes, and I would love to discuss this more with you.

My favorite, btw. Played to open many a radio show =)
lalita lavanga lataa pariseelana
komala malaya samire
madhukara nikara karambita kokila
koojita kunja kutire
viharati harir-iha sarasa vasante
nrityati yuvati jane na samam sakhi,
virahi janasya durante..
The soft breeze from the malaya hills
Dallies with delicate creepers of clove
And the buzzing of honeybees and the soft calls of cuckoos
Echo in the forest
In this spring of passion,
Hari dances with his damsels
This separation cannot be borne..
Now Sakhi (Radha), go to him at once..

I don't believe Jayadeva set his Ashtapadis in specific ragas. As such there are no original tunes for these songs.
