Hi, is this Nandini of the manattakali seeds etc. If so , hey there ! This Kolattam has something to do with prancing around waving bamboo products. It may be possible to use the stick dance songs from Gujarat, called Daandiya something or the other, which may be more accessible. If the audience doesn't appreciate you can then use the sticks suitably.

Nado: Same nandini...enjoyed the tape you had sent......sorry for not having contacted you...We want an authentic tamil kolattam song, not Dandiya. The gujarati org usually does that every yr.

Try some of the Subramanya Bharathiyar songs. They come out very good for Kolattam. I have done myself and also choreographed for adults as well as children.

The word missing in stanza 2 is apparently forbidden on the forumhub. The first two letters are pu. The second letter is the fourth letter of the alphabet. The third letter is the first letter of the alphabet. The last two letters are rI.
