i also will like to know how your guru died?
a guru is one who can take u back to godhead can he take u back? well if only one is a uttama adikari then can he be a guru not any body can. and if he is really good and god really loves him why does he have to die like that mr narasimhna u may call it jala samadhi but everybody knows it is just a nicer term for drowning. so where in the history has any real guru left the world like that ?? can u really see the picture now or are u really stickin with him like glue?? i am just trying to help you . pardon if i have used soem harsh words.

Its worth. because his songs are good. he has a great voice. This site is for discussing music and not people. doesnt' matter what the person is.
simple.
i have personally enjoyed his music at Narada Gana sabha in chennai - where his bhajan was taking place every sunday.

please listen to yourself. it is ok if u want to listen to music but is it the real essence of life? there are so many singers out there but why do u have to listen to him an unbonafide misleading person. milk comin from a serpant's mouth is definetly poison right?pls check the web for many more exciting bhajan singers and please get some philosophy into your heads and don;t follow blindly

By passing comments agains H.H.Swami Haridhossgiri Swamigal, the person shows his immaturity on Namasankirthan and mixing the same with ordinary music. Well, it is kaliyuga and there is bound to be people who gets thrill in criticising for the sake of criticising.

H.H.Haridas Giri Swamiji - His bhajans are not music but it leads you to the road back to godhead wonderful Of course everything in life is available once you have an unalloyed desire, devotion, sacrifice, and above all follow the footsteps of the Guru. Guru is none other than the Parama Purusha or the The Lord of the Universe. Selection of Guru and other paraphernalias are very important. The grace is required to acquire a Guru and it will take time to meet him during your life time. You have to dedicate yourself with highest desires.
Jala samadhi - it is not drowning or suicide. It is Jala samadhi. Samadhi is itself a process and a perfect soul with its desires at the time of leaving the body will attain this. His(soul in the boady) desires might be to leave this planet via jala only and His desires were fulfilled by the Lord.
Criticism is common amongst human beings. criticism can be useful for acquiring knowledge and development and probe the truth. Criticism must not be destructive which will lead to faithlessness and become atheist philosophy
Suggest probe the truth before put in writing anything for public debates. Certain issues undebatable and must be accepted as it is - as it is confirmed in the scriptures like Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatham and all other scriptures.

I write this mail aghast at the tone of hatred and passion against noble souls who are respected by thousands. This is in response to Mr.Siva (from singapore).This is nothing to do with the "highly
intellectual discussion"on HH swami Haridas giri (atleast, i am not eligible for that!!), but in response to a remark on gurus dying.
HH Swami died in the ganges. Some call it jala samadhi. some others like Sri Siva may call it mere accident. Accidents and afflictions happens to all living beings as long as they are bound by the mortal body envelope. So here is the list of few of the Gurus who died by accident and/or diseases ( a part of what i could remember at this moment)
1. Sri Ramakrishna - cancer
2.Sri Ramana Maharishi- cancer
3. Sri Sivananda swamigal - in his last days, his body weight exceeded normal medical limits
4. Swami Vivekananda - malfunctioning of kidney, possibly diabetes
5.Sri Aurobindo - similar to Sri Sivananda, had his body weight very high
6. Sri Mother of pondicherry - possibly something to do with body water works ( i am not sure actual cause, my memory fails me)
7. Sukracharya- the Asura guru, great exponent of shastras in the negative side, was blind in one eye
8. HH Kanchi paramacharya was operated on his eyes (for cataract?)
9. One of the last two presidents of Ramakrishna misssion, I forgot the name, who was a Guru to thousands, had prostrate operation before his death
10. some living saints who are blind in their mortal eyes (i know one of them)
There are lots and lots of examples in Hindu, muslim, jain, buddhist and christian religions where GURUS ELIGIBLE TO LEAD OTHERS SPIRITUALLY WERE AFFLICTED WITH MORTAL DISEASES/HAD ACCIDENTS.
I really look forward to hear more about people who compare the mortal features of a Guru's life with his or her spiritual status: more about those critics' own spiritual status and eligibility of comment upon the noble souls that lead
thousands.
I can understand if hypertension and heart attack ( the diseases of the mundane,luxurioius undisciplined billions)were mentioned,but with accidents etc.,Sri Siva lost me!
I dont want to comment further on this.

I have gone through the web. Except Siva, all others are fortunate engough to have the feelings for Sri Guruji Haridhossgiri. I and my entire family are fortunate enough to have been Blessed by him and having taken by him as his disciples. Itis our forefathers' blessings that we have been fortunate and lucky to have a Guru in the form Swami Haridhossgiri (Rev. Guruji for us). We are confident that our Guruji has just disappeared and he will re-appear soon and our sincere request to all the devotees and disciples of Sri Guruji to constantly pray like the Gopis of Brindavan for an early come back of our Guruji and I am sure that like Lord Krishna who appeared before the Gopis on the completion of the Gopia Geetham, our Pujya Guruji will also emerge and Bless us.
