Indian Classical music is going through a difficult period. It is controled by the group of musicians. They are getting known and populer day by day but, there are so many, trimendus talented young musicians, who are being suppresed and made victims of dirty politics. Not getting proper oppertunity they are loosing faith and getting frustrated. Is this the right way ? Is it not damaging our Indian classical music's future ? Is'nt it making this music stay in certain hands and in certain groups ? Isn't music a universal emotion and not a property of a certain people ?

Hello Rajesh Kumar.... your point well taken... this has been going on for ages... not just in the classical music field.... but what do we/what could we do to do away with this? or to make the situation better?... suggestions/comments...??

I agree to both. But if the raskikas really like it, there can be no stopping. Politics will always exist. But true talent will show up eventually.
