Mr JAi, there are no hindustani musicians in Trivandrum....The only place where you can learn the correct techniques in Hindustani Music in South India is in Bangalore. You can have classes once in a month by going there.... Else you can switch on to Pune Lucknow or Bombay

Hi. I will be visiting Bangalore next summer (2005) along with my son (now 9 years old). I want him to start learning Hindustani vocal music for 2-3 months with daily classes. Is there a very good teacher who would be willing to come to our house daily to teach, in Basavangudi? The months we are looking at are: Jun 20th to August 30th. Trying to get a head start in advance; please reply and we can work out the fees and other details!
