Hi ,
I was wondering if I can usethis forum to share Mp3 files of carnatic music. We could do this by posting on this thread,Privateemails or the Napster/FTP route.

The reason for this post is thefollowing:

1. General difficulty in finding Carnatic Music in MP3 format.

2. Interest a refferring friend expressed in composions of the trinity.

3. Availability with many of Private /chamber concers of the stalwarts of carnatic music.

1. Real player plus is a software you have to buy from Real.com..
2. Total recorder can be downloaded from many sites but again you have to buy the licence.
3. When you start realplayer the next time or Reboot ur PC the file types would be reset. Real player does it for you so u dont have to worry about it.

Sruthi-laya is on Yahoo! Groups (groups.yahoo.com). Search & subscribe to Sruthilaya at this site. In the main Sruthilaya page - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sruthi-laya

click on database (located in the box on the left side of the screen). Check posted music & locations of music.
