Can those who know about the natya shastra and its idea please explain to me the ideas expressed in the natya shastra on dance, the body and its postures and also please tell me why is dance so important in the life and beauty of south India. |

bharatha natyam is one of the most intricate dances in india. it is the pride and heritage that it holds that makes it such a great artform.
in bharatha natyam you basically use your body to depict stories of history. for example the story of ram and sita, the story of the gnana pazhum etc. the youth can learn about the history and our glorius heritage through dance.
