This is the counterpart to "Index of Hard to find TFM". (Inspired by haris' query on TVS' dwijaavanthi RTP.)

Sorry for the late late late response. I just saw this place today. Never been here before. I remember having an old cassette with a raagam thaanam pallavi by TVS in Brindavana Saranga. The pallavi goes : "srIrangaa, harirangaa, paaNdurangaa, brindaavana saarangaa". I will try and locate that cassette.

The only part I would like to hear in KJY's Live Concerts is his RTPs. I heard he's very good in singing Pallavis. it would be fast paced and full of complicated Talams.I have searched lot of his concerts in Tarangini - but in vain.

The Way We Do It - COLONIAL COUSINS II is out and Excellent...... There's a piece where Hari sings a Tamil piece in Begada Raga and Swaras, highlighting the essence of the Raga......An excellent choice......There's also a piece, Jaare Jaare, which sounds like it's in the Raga DURGA - Hindustani Suddha Saveri......Rhythm of the World is also excellent, with extra concentration on the beats and percussion side.....
Take a listen all, it's a very cool album.....
Happy New Year.....

UV: When did Trilok Gurtu release an album with IR's work? I'd be interested to know too, Trilok is excellent.....
By the way, speaking of Ace purcussionists, watch out for A.SIVAMANI's album, which is to be released in May 99.......

UV: I have heard the excellent album by TALVIN SINGH(Very prominent Tabla Maestro and creator of Fusion Music, based in the UK) and it features IR's work. Perhaps you were speaking of this, or did Trilok Gurtu also use IR, as I'm unable find IR given credit on any of the new Trilok Gurtu albums....Please look this up, Thanks in advance.

Geethanjali: Wow, very good to have you here. Hope to see your contributions to the other Carnatic threads too. I'd love to go and visit Kalakshethra one day.....
I have some relatives in KL and will try and ask them if they can suggest anything for you. My cousin is a Barathanatyam dancer there, so she may have a good idea.
The TEMPLE OF FINE ARTS may be the place to start, as they have very good teachers and may be able to give you the best ideas for Music, perhaps you can teach there.
