I loved the book. It had a rather new ring to it. I mean, it was very different from the usual autobiographical harping that defined a majority of Indo-anglian writing of the 80s/90s. You know "THE PAIN OF BEING TO ABLE TO WRITE IN ENGLISH WHILE MY FELLOW INDIANS SUFFER FROM POVERTY" kind of writing.
